The fine print, in plain language

Terms & Conditions

How X10diD Learning works, what our GED preparation course does and does not promise, what you pay and what you get, and what we ask of you in return.

Last updated: September 2026

  1. Agreement to these terms

By opening, browsing or using this site and its course material, you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, including learners, parents and guardians. If a learner is under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with them.

Nothing on this page is legal advice. It is a plain-language summary of the rules that govern your use of this site.

  2. Payment and pricing

Access to the full course is provided for a one-time payment of R999 (nine hundred and ninety-nine South African rand). This is a single payment for the course as offered at the time of purchase; it is not a subscription and it does not include exam fees charged by any GED testing service.

From time to time we may issue coupon codes or free access codes. A coupon reduces the price payable at checkout; a free access code unlocks the course without payment. Codes are personal, may have conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash, and we may refuse, limit or withdraw any code that is shared, sold or used outside its intended purpose.

Prices are shown in South African rand and may be updated for future purchases. The price that applies to you is the one confirmed at your checkout.

  3. Payment confirmation and access

Course access is granted once your payment has been confirmed by the payment provider. If payment cannot be confirmed, access may be withheld or suspended until the matter is resolved.

Redeeming a valid free access code or coupon under its conditions grants or prices access on the same terms as a standard purchase.

If you paid but cannot access the course, contact us at sanetbritz01@gmail.com and we will investigate and restore access where the payment is verified.

  4. Payments, refunds and chargebacks

Because the course is digital content delivered immediately on purchase, and because access is granted in full at once, a purchase is generally treated as final once access has been unlocked. Please read these terms and the course description carefully before paying.

Where consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction gives you a legal right to a refund, cancellation or cooling-off period, we will honour that right. Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right that the law does not allow us to remove.

Please do not reverse a payment through your bank or card provider (a chargeback) before contacting us. Unlawful or unjustified chargebacks may result in access being suspended and reasonable administration costs being recovered. Legitimate disputes will always be treated fairly and in line with the law.

  5. Your account and security

Where the course requires an account, keep your sign-in details confidential and do not share your account with anyone else. Your access is personal to you.

You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend access that is shared, sold, transferred or used in breach of these terms.

  6. What this course is, and is not

X10diD Learning provides study support and preparation for the GED tests. We teach content, skills and exam technique to help you get ready.

We are not a GED test provider. We do not administer, issue or control the GED tests or credentials. GED testing is arranged through the official GED testing service, and any credential is issued by them, not by us.

Our course is preparation support only. Enrolling in, completing or paying for our course does not enter you for any exam and does not result in any credential on its own.

  7. Accuracy and no guarantee of results

We work hard to keep our material accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every detail is complete, up to date or free of error. Exam formats, requirements and policies can change without notice.

We do not guarantee any particular exam result, pass mark, score, university admission, bursary, employment outcome, or recognition of your studies by any institution or employer.

Decisions about admission, exemption and recognition are made by the institutions and bodies concerned, not by us. Before you commit time or money, confirm directly with the university, college, employer or professional body you are aiming for.

  8. The GED and South African qualifications: the facts

To be clear and honest about what the GED is: the GED is a foreign high school equivalency credential. It is not a South African qualification.

As evaluated by SAQA (the South African Qualifications Authority), the closest comparable South African qualification to the GED is the National Senior Certificate (NSC) offered under the CAPS curriculum, evaluated at NQF Level 4.

The GED is not the same as CAPS or the NSC, and it is not the same as matric. Holding a GED is not an automatic university admission, and it is not an automatic matriculation exemption. Exemption and admission are considered case by case by Universities South Africa (USAf) and the institutions involved.

If anyone tells you the GED "is matric" or "guarantees university", that is not correct. Ask questions, verify with the relevant bodies, and decide with the full picture in front of you.

  9. Progress reports and certificates

Your progress report records the topics you have studied, the time you have spent and your quiz scores within the course. It is a private study record for you.

If you complete every topic, the course issues a certificate of completion. That certificate confirms that you finished this course only.

The certificate is not an official GED credential, it is not a matriculation exemption, and it is not a guarantee of admission or recognition by any school, university, college or employer. Only the official GED testing service can issue a GED credential.

  10. Your responsibilities as a learner

Use the course material honestly and for your own learning. Do not share your access, copy the material for others, or present the work as your own in any assessment context.

Provide accurate information when you contact us, and keep your own records of your progress and any correspondence.

You are responsible for checking the official GED testing requirements, booking your own exams where applicable, and verifying how the credential will be treated by the institutions you care about.

  11. Acceptable use

Use this site lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape in bulk, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.

Do not use the site or its material to mislead others, impersonate anyone, or infringe the rights of other users or of X10diD Learning.

We may suspend or withdraw access if these rules are broken.

  12. Copyright, ownership and prohibited sharing

All course content on this site, including lessons, explanations, examples, videos, text, design and branding, belongs to X10diD Learning or is used with permission. It is protected by copyright.

You may use the material for your own personal study. You may not copy, record, resell, redistribute, republish, upload elsewhere, share your account or access with others, or create derivative products from the material without our written permission.

Sharing, reproducing or reselling course material, or making it available to people who have not purchased access, is a breach of these terms and of copyright law, and may lead to access being withdrawn and further action.

The GED name and related marks belong to their respective owners. Their use on this site is for identification and description only and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

  13. Privacy and your data

We collect only what the course needs to work: your sign-in details, your purchase status, and your course progress and quiz results, so that your report and certificate reflect your own study.

Your progress is tied to your own account and is not visible to other learners. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your study record for advertising.

If you email us, we will have your email address and message, and we will use them only to reply to you and to administer your course access.

  14. Access availability and changes

Access to the course material is provided as-is, on the terms set out here. We aim to keep the site available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Lesson content, structure and availability may be updated, moved or withdrawn as the course improves. If a paid course is ever discontinued, we will give reasonable notice to enrolled learners.

You are responsible for having a device and internet connection capable of using the site.

  15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the course and the law evolve. The current version will always be published on this page.

Significant changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date below. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The version of these terms that applies to a purchase is the version published at the time of that purchase, together with any later changes that the law requires us to apply.

Questions about these terms?
